Srinagar police cracks whip on lottery sellers | KNO

Srinagar, December 11 (KNO) : Police Stations Kothibagh and Maisuma were receiving constant complaints from the public that some lottery agents were selling lottery tickets around Lal Chowk area. Acting on these complaints, Srinagar Police identified some agents and touts who are routinely indulging in such activities. A number of raids were conducted and three agents who were identified as Sadiq Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Hassan, Mohammad Syed Ahangar son of Mohammad Yousuf residents of Chinkral Mohalla Habakadal and Waseem Rasool Bhat son of Ghulam Rasool Bhat resident of Chanapora were arrested. People are requested to contact Srinagar police on 9596770514 and 9596770623 in case of complaints of such nature.(KNO)
